We will meet at the Fashion Institute of Technology's museum at 12pm to view their current exhibit, Statement Sleeves.

Afterward we will head to lunch together where we will have a Fabric Swap!

Wear your ‘Me-Made’ garments!

Fabric/Pattern/Notions Swap Details:

• Don’t bring too much since you have to carry it during the museum visit.


• Please bring unwanted fabric pieces (including scrap bundles) in good condition; attach a tag that specifies the yardage and type of material and your name.


• Bring unwanted patterns and notions. Also attach a tag with your name.


• Any unclaimed fabric, etc. needs to be taken back as there’s no immediate local donation or textile recycling center.


• Members who bring fabric to swap will take turns picking one fabric, etc. per round and continue to take turns in this way for a few rounds, until turning it into a free-for-all where everyone can take what they want.


• Members who don’t contribute to the swap will wait for the free-for-all round to select anything.
