More Fabric Savvy: Sandra Betzina’s easy-to-use guide to sewing a variety of fabric types.

Sewing Materials: A vintage book from The Woman’s Institute Library of Dressmaking that covers a variety of fiber types and fabrics used in dressmaking. Though some names are outdated and some fabrics now difficult to find, it is a detailed resource on classic fabrics used in apparel.

Easy Guide to Sewing Linings: Though out of print, this brief and specialized book can help you learn to make reversible linings, as well as more traditional variations.
