Build Your Wardrobe with the Billie Jumpsuit

With a chic, relaxed fit and an elasticized waist, Billie is the perfect jumpsuit for style and comfort. It features slightly tapered legs, a faced neckline, inserted pockets, a tie belt, and a keyhole opening at the back.

Sew it up in your choice of knit fabric, like a casual heathered jersey, a soft French terry, or a glamorous stretch velvet.

Jamie is wearing a size 14 Billie jumpsuit, blended to a 16 at the bottom, with 1 1/2” added to the sleeves and 3/4” added to the inseam. Her measurements are 40”, 34 1/2”, 45 3/8” and she is 5’ 10 1/2”.

Shop for Fabric

This jumpsuit is perfect for your knit stash—or it’s a great excuse to do a little fabric shopping. All you need is a medium-weight knit fabric, such as ponte, French terry, sweatshirt fleece, jersey, or double knit. Play with texture and look for a rib knit or a medium-weight quilted knit, for a look that really stands out.

When picking a fabric, keep some of the garment’s details in mind, as there is a faced neckline and a keyhole closure at the back. Don’t pick anything so lightweight that it runs the risk of bagging out when you wear it—look for good recovery.
