Fabrics to shop: Look for lightweight or medium-weight knits with four-way stretch with 50% stretch and good recovery, such as cotton jersey, bamboo or soy jersey blends, double brushed polyester knit, mesh, rib knit, and stretch lace.
Notions: You’ll need some bra-making supplies for this project, like rings and sliders, bra strapping, picot elastic in different widths, and a hook and eye bra closure.
Fabrics to avoid: While some bras can be made with woven fabrics, the Robin bralette needs a knit fabric with 4-way stretch. Avoid fabrics with 2-way stretch or with less than 50% stretch.
Fit: Read the instructions for detailed information about how to select a size. Compare your full bust and under bust measurements to the body measurements in the size charts.
