Akita is a wardrobe-building staple that you can quickly stitch up with less than two yards of fabric. This unique top only uses one pattern piece and the armholes are finished with bias tape.

All-purpose polyester thread, 4 yards of 1/2" bias tape.

Nearly any lightweight fabric, such as silk crepe, silk twill, cotton shirting, lawn, voile, batiste, swiss dot. Optional: lightweight knit fabrics.
