Writers

Carrie Hauser

Carrie Hauser has been sewing for over a decade. From quilts to clothing to accessories, she loves to make it all! When she’s not at a sewing machine, she’s listening to true crime podcasts and playing with her only child, a husky/german shepherd mix named Maisie. To check out more of her quilty good stuff, visit her website or check her out on Instagram.

Deanna Jacome

Deanna is an interdisciplinary healing arts educator committed to wild, creative play and expanding her arts practice to promote healing and nurturing the inner artist within us all. To learn more visit Shady Tree Maker.

Farrah Dodson

As the Graphic Designer here at Seamwork HQ, Farrah helps us capture the magic of sewing through graphic design, creating our brand identity and making sure that each issue of Seamwork looks perfect.

Haley Glenn

Haley doesn’t just want to design clothing you’ll love to wear, but clothing you’ll love to sew. With a background in both design and teaching, she combines her talents to imagine patterns with thoughtful details that build your skills as you sew.

Katiusca Guzman

Katiusca loves working with her hands, and her love of sewing started over 10 years ago when she made handbags for her bridesmaids. When she is not sewing, she is knitting, photographing nature, or interviewing guests for her podcast, Between These Stitches. You can find her at betweenthesestitches.com or on Instagram under the same handle.

Lori Caldwell

Lori Caldwell is the former owner/founder of leather goods company, Minnie + George, based in Portland, OR, who now offers social equity consulting. She’s also an avid maker, sewer, and Seamwork subscriber.

Mary Rockcastle

Mary Ethel Rockcastle is a writer, designer, and reformed weird horse girl. One girl with too many titles, Mary can be found in Rochester, NY, with a dog at her feet and her emotional support water bottle nearby. She writes about her sewing projects, reviews ethical clothing and underwear, and her big thoughts at sablecraft.com and is found @sablecraft on instagram.

Meg Stively

Meg is here to help you get excited about sewing. As the managing editor for Seamwork and the smiling face behind emails and social media, she loves seeing what you’re making with our patterns.
