Fabrics to shop: Lightweight or medium-weight knits with two-way stretch with 50% stretch and good recovery, such as cotton jersey, bamboo/soy jersey blends, double brushed polyester knit, mesh, and rib-knit.
Notions: You’ll need picot elastic for these underwear. For version 1, you’ll also need galloon stretch lace. For version 2, you’ll need 1/2" - 1" stretch lace.
Fabrics to avoid: Avoid heavyweight knits. They will be too bulky to finish with picot elastic and stretch lace.
Fit: You can choose the coverage you’d like, but both versions feature the same high rise. This means that the underwear sit above the belly button.
