The Pomme Dress is inspired by the effortless charm of everyday wear combined with subtle, modern detailing. Perfect for daytime or evening, Pomme balances comfort with refinement, making it an ideal addition to your handmade wardrobe for any occasion.
The Pomme Dress is a semi-fitted knit mini with front and back princess seams for a contoured silhouette. Mid-thigh length keeps the proportion fresh and modern, while gathered puff sleeves finished above the elbow with elastic add playful volume. A round neckline finished with a clean facing that attaches to the princess seams provides a polished finish inside and out. Pomme is the perfect blend of simple, stylish, and versatile for everyday wear.
Member Bonus
The Pomme Member Bonus transforms the design with a square neckline and full-length sleeves. Keeping the semi-fitted body and princess seams, this variation adds a sleek, elongated silhouette for a more modern, sophisticated look. It’s perfect for cooler seasons or a slightly more formal take on the classic mini.

Fabric and Fit
Fabric recommendations
Pomme is best sewn in light- to medium-weight knit fabrics with good recovery, such as jerseys, French terry, ponte, or rib knits. Stretch velvet, quilted knits, and jacquard knits add extra texture and interest. Fabrics should have enough stretch to skim the body comfortably without being restrictive and enough stability to hold the princess seams and sleeve gathers neatly. Avoid fabrics that are too heavy or thick, that can’t handle gathers well, or fabrics that are too lightweight as they may sag.

Fitting tips:
Focus on the fit through the bust, waist, and hips for a flattering silhouette. Adjust the sleeve length and ease as needed, especially for the gathered puff sleeves or full-length bonus sleeves. Check the neckline alignment for both the round and square variations. If blending sizes for a curvier figure, follow the bust and hip adjustment tutorials linked below:
