It's supposed to be a fun and useful exercise, and I think that when you insert too much judgment into it, you're going to rob yourself of the joy of the process.
It provides a gentle yet firm strike, so you won’t knick your hardware, but you’ll insert it securely. Be sure to use it over a hard surface that won’t get damaged.
And then I also added, like, a ladder lace insertion between the tiers, which looks really pretty, and it adds a little flash of skin.
