Beginner

In addition, beginner patterns omit closures, making them perfect if you are new to sewing or are looking for a quick and easy make.

Advanced Beginner

Advanced Beginner sewing patterns expand on the skills learned at the beginner level, helping you to build confidence and range as a sewer. You'll find simple knitwear projects, bias tape finishing techniques, and begin to explore closures at this skill level.

Intermediate

Intermediate level sewing patterns focus on more precision sewing. In this skill level, you'll learn specialty closures. Intermediate patterns also introduce the skills needed for simple lingerie and athletic wear projects.

Advanced

Advanced sewing patterns require great precision and time investment. You'll find tailored pieces in this category with elevated details like bound buttonholes and welt pockets.

The Cypress Member Bonus offers a softer take on the original blouse, with shorter sleeves and a delicate tie at the neckline. The sleeves finish just above the elbow, gathering into narrow binding for the same gentle volume and shaped finish as the original design.

At the neckline, a single tie replaces the original shank buttons and loop closures, creating a simple, feminine detail that feels a little more relaxed. The chevron-shaped front yoke and straight-cut back yoke remain the same, preserving the clean lines and thoughtful construction that define Cypress.

Pair this version with your favorite jeans or tailored trousers for an easy everyday look, or style it with a skirt for something more polished. The shorter sleeves make it a lovely option for warmer days, while the distinctive yoke and neckline detail give it plenty of character.
